[There were 210 men, women and children living in the Parish of Arrington on the 31 March 1901. Of those 106 are male and 104 are female. 110 (52%) were born in the parish.

Arrington is a linear village strung out along the Old North Road (now Ermine Way or A1198) which was the main coaching road between London and York. The census starts at the southern end of the parish and works its way along the road to the northern boundary, then returns to the centre of the village to include the side road to the Church.]
